FSSAI Food Licence Registration in Delhi
Every food business in India — from a home kitchen to a large food manufacturing unit — must hold the correct FSSAI registration or licence before commencing operations, and the category depends squarely on annual turnover and scale. Justsetu LLP assesses your turnover and business type, prepares the application, and manages renewal so your food business stays compliant without interruption.

The Three FSSAI Categories
Basic Registration applies to small food businesses with annual turnover up to ₹12 lakh — such as small retailers, home-based food processors, and petty food manufacturers — and carries a government fee of ₹100 per year. State Licence applies to medium-scale businesses with annual turnover between ₹12 lakh and ₹20 crore — such as medium manufacturers, processors, and transporters — with a government fee typically ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 per year depending on the specific business category. Central Licence applies to large businesses with annual turnover above ₹20 crore, or businesses in specific categories like importers, large manufacturers, and operators at airports/seaports, with a government fee of ₹7,500 per year. All categories can be issued for a validity period of 1 to 5 years, with the fee scaling accordingly.

Why Justsetu LLP
Choosing the wrong category — most often applying for Basic Registration when actual turnover already exceeds ₹12 lakh — is a compliance risk that surfaces during a food safety inspection. We verify your turnover projection honestly before recommending a category.
